“I love being a teacher because each school year is unlike the other; actually, no two days are ever the same. You get to teach new groups of children with varying characters, experiences, and ideas. Each day they learn from me, I learn from them, and for that I am grateful.”

A native New Yorker and specifically a Brooklynite, Danielle joined Poly Prep in 2020. A nursery teacher, she comes to Poly with a background in a variety of different teaching philosophies. She taught in a Montessori-based program for two years and then moved on to teach at a Reggio-based early childhood education center for an additional two years. Danielle graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in recreational therapy. She then moved on to earn her master’s from Brooklyn College in early childhood education with an extension in special education. In addition to her love for growing young minds, Danielle has an extensive background in martial arts, ranging from Tae Kwon Do to boxing and kickboxing.
