“As a multidisciplinary teacher of Spanish and psychology, I get to work with a wider variety of minds and thus learn from an infinite gamut of backgrounds and interests. The experience of teaching across disciplines helps me and the students approach knowledge in a fluid and flexible state and hopefully inch closer to a better understanding of the metamorphosis that is our human condition.”

Ron Sarcos joined Poly’s World Languages Department in 2005. He shares his teaching across disciplines as an instructor of Spanish 3 Honors, Introductory Psychology, and AP Psychology. Ron earned a bachelor’s in journalism from La Universidad del Zulia in Maracaibo, Venezuela, where he grew up and the place he still considers home. Shortly after graduation, he moved to New York City, where he earned his master’s in psychology from New York University. Ron is also an avid long-distance runner and a trained actor and voiceover artist.
